Dyan F. Brockbank 

Dyan F. Brockbank (CNE, MSCP) is VP of Engineering and a founding partner of TIC Business Consultants, Ltd., She began her technical career in aviation electronics while also developing and instructing computer-training programs in the US Navy. She holds numerous hardware and software certificates and brings her expertise to the design, installation and support of local and wide area networks. Skilled at implementing computer network technologies, Dy also trains both network engineers and end users in these topics.

Reading is a passion! Favorite bookstore: Porter Square Books in Cambridge Massachusetts. They have a knowledgeable staff, great selection and are happy to special order books for you. They have a wonderful coffee shop. You can relax and browse for hours in this store or order books online.

2-wheeled vehicles – being "in the wind" is a mini-vacation every time I ride. Until temperatures gets into the lower 20's or below, I will keep riding with heated gloves and clothing.

- Motorcycle (2002 Honda Goldwing). After riding motorcycles for almost 3 decades, this is hands down my most favorite motorcycle of all time. Under that luggage is a 6 cylinder 1800cc rocket bike that hugs the road while providing all the comforts of a luxury car.

- Recumbent bicycle (1994 Vision) My recumbent was most recently serviced by Quad Bikes on the Harvard University campus. Even though they had never worked on a Vision (the company went out of business in 2003), they did an excellent job. I especially appreciate their conversion of the chain and gears from black grease to silicon.

Environmental activism - Since 2006, I’ve become focused on environmental issues and have worked hard to find ways to take better care of the planet. Last year I became a localvore – trying to find as many food sources as possible within a 50-mile radius. I reduced my meat consumption to only a few times a month and then the meat must be from humanely raised animals. No more eating "corn-fed" and industrially raised animals.
